Refresher training 3 hour - mixed video

This programme will take you through the necessary learning steps to enable you to join us in a physical intervention session as part of a refresher for you. If you have not previously carried out any training with us then you will have to complete the full 6 hour programme platform prior to your physical session. The programme content includes de-escalation and self-control when dealing with difficult situations as well as guidance on dealing with serious incidents which involve the use of physical intervention. This session is made up of 2 videos and 2 quizzes. The videos cover the following topics... 1. De-escalation and dealing with difficult situations 2. Legal and DfE guidance on the use of force inside schools This session is accredited through the CPD standards office https://www.cpdstandards.com Provider number 21721. Attendees: This training is suitable for: All staff who are in contact with children including: Management, Teachers, Pastoral Staff, Support Staff and School Outreach Workers Course Content: By the end of the training participants will have refreshed knowledge on de-escalation, role and responsibility and an understanding of legal and DfE guidance on the use of force in schools. The training is undertaken via video learning and quizzes. A personalised certificate is immediately downloadable. Each video has its own individual quiz, in total this programme has 35 questions. You must achieve an individual target percentage for each separate quiz to enable you to move on to the next section. It is advisable to watch each video and make notes.
