for different sessions so please read the information below and follow the
guidance closely.
If you are unsure as to the type of training session that has been provided for you, could you please contact the school staff member that has arranged it.

IMPORTANT - ALL STAFF TAKING PART IN A PHYSICAL INTERVENTION SESSION
Prior to any physical session you must complete a medical check sheet which you can find here.
ALL STAFF MEMBERS WHO ARE TAKING PART IN A PHYSICAL SESSION OF ANY TYPE MUST
1. DOWNLOAD THE MEDICAL CHECK SHEET
3. THE COMPLETED CHECK LIST MUST BE BROUGHT WITH YOU ON THE DAY OF THE PHYSICAL SESSION.
THERE IS GUIDANCE TO HELP YOU COMPLETE THE FORM ON PAGE 1 OF THE DOWNLOADED DOCUMENT.

TRAINING GUIDANCE FOR INDIVIDUAL SESSIONS
Please find the name of your session (listed below), click on it and follow the appropriate guidance. Please use the name of the course that was given to your school when booking. This should have been shared with you by the arranging staff member.

REFRESHER TRAINING 3 HOURS IN PERSON
REFRESHER TRAINING 3 HOURS IN PERSON
This is a 3-hour refresher session in your school all carried out in person.
This session is for staff members that have previously carried out any of our full physical intervention training programmes within the last 2 years. Our full physical intervention programmes are the 5 or 6 hour in person programmes or the 6 hour mixed video programme.
Your certificate from any previous training should have the date of your last completed session.
P&I Training also hold a register of all schools and staff that have undergone previous training with us.
If you'd like to ask us for your registration details then please provide us with your name, school that you worked for when your training was completed, the date you training was completed and the location of your last training session. Send your request to admin@panditraining.co.uk

If your certificate has expired before the date of your planned physical session you will need to complete the 5 or 6 hour session or 6 hour mixed video session.
On occasion we will allow certification to run over slightly from the due date. If you'd like to request a period of grace then please send your request to admin@panditraining.co.uk

3. Turn up at your training session and bring the completed medical check sheet with you.
IMPORTANT - Staff members who do not complete a medical check sheet and bring it with them on the day of the practical session will not be allowed to take part. We must have this completed in order for our liability insurance to be valid.
4. On completion of the physical session come back to this page to obtain your supporting documents and manuals. These can all be found in the supporting documents section below and inside the members page under the heading DOCUMENTS.

You are due to undertake the physical session as part of an accredited programme.
Before attending the physical session you must complete the online learning section of the training.
The online platform learning covers legal and DfE guidance when dealing with the use of force inside schools.
This is a course that involves all pre physical elements being undertaken via our online learning platform and then a follow up 2 hour practical, physical intervention session, in school with a P&I training instructor.

REGISTER - follow the steps for registration.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO PAY - Simply put the coupon code that was given to your school into the box which says ENTER A COUPON CODE.
This will take you to the online programme.
COMPLETE THE PROGRAMME
Please adhere to each step carefully as you do not get unlimited attempts to pass.

Your individual school page will be set to expire on the day after your on-site session so cannot be completed retrospectively.

4. Turn up at the physical session and bring the completed medical check sheet and online learning programme certificate with you - both of these documents are required to access the physical part of the training.
Both of these documents will be taken from you on the day of the physical intervention session and you will be issued with a new certificate stating that completion of all elements has been achieved.

6 hour physical intervention programme - mixed video version
This is a course that involves all pre physical elements being undertaken via our online learning platform and then a follow up 2.5 hour practical, physical intervention session, in school with a P&I training instructor.
