The overall aim of this session is to give staff the confidence and knowledge to approach all situations in a safe, legal and appropriate manner. This is a comprehensive look at dealing with serious incidents from inception to completion and from recording to sharing. We will walk you through each step to help empower you/your staff team. This session is compiled of 6 videos and a supporting quiz. 1. Legal and DfE guidance to the use of force inside schools 2. Dealing with difficult situations and de-escalation 3. Recording serious incidents 4. Reflecting on serious incidents 5. Planning for serious incidents 6. Sharing recordings Sessions 1 and 2 can also be purchased separately and sessions 3,4,5 and 6 can be purchased as a seperate package. This session is accredited through the CPD standards office https://www.cpdstandards.com Provider number 21721. This session does not include any physical intervention techniques, it is guidance only. Attendees: This training is suitable for: All staff who are in contact with children including: Management, Teachers, Pastoral Staff, Support Staff and School Outreach Workers Course Content: By the end of the training participants will have an all round awareness to dealing with serious incidents inside schools. This training is undertaken via video learning and quiz and a personalised certificate is immediately downloadable. This programme is for individual staff members only - the price of this programme is for 1 staff member only.
